Hi, my name is Julia! I am a passionate and dedicated music teacher with a Master of Music in Studio Composition from the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College. I've been playing the piano for 15 years with focus on classical, jazz, and contemporary genres. I've been studying voice for over 10 years with focus on contemporary, classical, and musical theatre styles. I am a singer, songwriter, recording artist, and performer with two albums, an EP, and a recent single. I have been writing music for over 10 years, and perform as both a solo act and with my band all over NYC at established venues like The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, Mercury Lounge, Pianos, Arlene's Grocery, The Metropolitan Room, and Pete's Candy Store.

TA for "Songwriting a Musical Workshop", worked with a class of 6-8 years olds to write songs, and prepare them for a performance.
